An instrument made use of by operative Masons to spread the cement which unites the building into one common mass; but we, as Free and Accepted Masons are taught to use it for the more noble and glorious purpose of spreading the cement of brotherly love and affection; that cement which unites us into one sacred band, or society of friends and brothers, among whom no contention should ever exist, but that noble contention, or rather emulation, of who best can work and best agree. This home page is dedicated to the concept: If Freemasonry is to grow again, the outside world must know about us, as they did in the first half of 20th Century. It's not that we need to change who we are or what we do, it's that we've got to let people know who we are and what we do. First, we need to tell it to our own members! "We can't grow, if they don't know."Quote from: Ill. C. Fred

My goal as Webmaster
of The Trowel Home Page, is to add to the body of Freemasonry knowledge
already available on the World Wide Web and specifically promote and service
Freemasonry bodies in the State of Florida and more specifically the 23rd Masonic District, of the Grand Lodge of Florida.
